Viola Plus with Tatjana Masurenko

Enjoy an afternoon of chamber music masterworks in which the rich, dark sound of the viola plays a central role. Directed by renowned violist Tatjana Masurenko, Viola Plus returns with another rousing program featuring Tatjana herself, Colburn faculty and students, and special guests.  Alexandra will sing Quatre poemes pour voix, alto, et piano by Charles Loeffler, as well as a few selected songs.

Joy in Singing Winner's Concert

As the winner of Joy in Singing’s International Art Song Competition, Alexandra will make her Carnegie Hall and New York City debut in a recital of art song. She will be joined by collaborator, Cynthia Liu. Featured composers include Jean Sibelius, Joseph Marx, Lili Boulanger, and Tom Cipullo.

Scholarship Winner Recital: Opera Illinois League

Alexandra will perform a recital of art song, opera arias, and musical theatre as the winner of the Mary Ellen Clancy Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to the top emerging opera vocalist through a national competition with MIOpera and the Opera Illinois League.
